Erika’s Master’s thesis focused on the hunting of five species of armadillos in the Bolivian Chaco (DICE-Kent University). She has been working with local indigenous parabiologists, specifically providing intensive training in standard field research techniques, thus developing local capacity in biological enquiry. Over the past 12 years she has had a leading role in the research, conservation, monitoring and training activities associated with the Kaa-Iya National Park in the Bolivian Gran Chaco. Erika recently concluded her PhD studies at Oxford University.
